The advertisements aim to capitalise on resesarch that shows 63% of Brits expect to take an English break or holiday in the next year, mainly because of unfavourable exchange rates.

The research results were revealed at the Best of Britain and Ireland show taking place until Sunday at Excel in London.
Another boost to English tourism’s profile is expected on St George’s Day, 23 April, with the ceremony for the annual Enjoy England Awards for Excellence.
VisitEngland is the new national tourism body for England and comes into operation on 1 April.
Currently, VisitEngland is an advisory board to the England marketing division within VisitBritain.

Penelope, Viscountess Cobham, will chair the new body but a chief executive is yet to be appointed.
