Incentives specialist unveils retail agency
An online travel agency has been launched, headed by Florida and cruise expert Ian Moore.
My Lifestyle Travel has evolved from the travel business of Lifestyle Incentives, which provides services to corporate clients including O2, Waitrose and Travis Perkins.
The ABTA and ATOL bonded travel agency already has a global range of contacts with hotels, tour operators and industry specialists but is seeking new partnerships with operators and cruise lines for its B2C venture.
My Lifestyle Travel has joined Global Travel’s Independent Options and has a website at www.mylifestyletravel.co.uk.
Lifestyle Incentives boasts 10 years of experience in handling travel for corporate clients, and also offers events.
Moore started in travel 22 years ago with Page & Moy, and has also worked with Travel City Direct, Cruise1st, Cruise Nation and UnbeatableFlorida.com.
He joined in March as travel and events manager to develop the offering to the public and source more travel products and offers.
He said agency was looked to promote itself via Facebook and Twitter as well as using the firm’s database.
Michelle Bancroft, sales and marketing manager at Lifestyle Incentives, admitted it was a ‘tough time’ to launch an agency because of the economy.
‘However, because of our background and underlying business, we have a level of business which gives us security,’ she said.
‘We have arranged travel for 10 years for corporate clients and that has grown into staff loyalty programmes.
‘As our travel business grew, we therefore decided to launch this B2C venture.’
Lifestyle Incentives is based in Stockport, with a team of seven working on the travel offering.
