The travel management company has written to its clients outlining details of the hikes, which take effect next month and in November 2010.
Based on current travel patterns, CWT UK clients will collectively see a 41% increase in their APD payments, representing a rise of £9m a year.
This will result in the total APD that they pay annually reaching £30m in 2011.
Andrew Waller, executive vice president, CWT UK & Ireland, said: ‘CWT is providing its clients with the information they need to understand what the increases will mean for them.
‘CWT believes that the proposed rises in Air Passenger Duty will impede economic recovery without delivering environmental benefits and we will oppose them vigorously.’
As well as the letter to clients, CWT is encouraging its 1,400 UK staff to sign the petition against the increases on the Number 10 website and to contact their MPs to voice their concerns.
