Click4Carbon.com users will be able to book hotels and car hire with Expedia, with profits from bookings used to fund environmental projects.
John Russell, Click4Carbon managing director, said: ‘By partnering with Expedia, our users will be able to make bookings for hotels and car hire in the same way as they always would.
'The difference is that they will have the knowledge that by using our portal they will be helping to fund reforestation and environmental projects.’
Expedia Distribution aims to diversify its business by partnering with non-travel firms.
Its white label partners include Eurostar, Lonely Planet, Formula1, fish4 and Sky as well as more than 17 airlines.
Tamer Tamar, Expedia Distribution managing director, said the company already works with several socially responsible businesses such as TerraPass, UNESCO World Heritage and Global Giving.
Profits from the Click4Carbon venture will fund projects managed by the Plant a Tree Today Foundation.
