The start-up agency seeks homeworkers and office-based staff and is wooing candidates with a signing-on gift of £1,000 for the first 20 recruits.
Cruise118 was launched a year ago by former MyTravel directors Mal Barritt and James Cole and claims it has become the UK’s fastest growing cruise retailer.
Currently, it employs 15 sales staff at its Chorley HQ and a further 15 homeworkers across Northern Ireland, in addition to ten management and support staff.
Instead of a traditional call centre approach, it offers a ‘cruise concierge’ service so customers deal with the same agent from the initial point of contact until they return from their holiday.
Barritt said: ‘It has been great to see our business grow at such a fantastic rate despite the recession and we are now looking for talented agents to further grow our sales team.
‘Our ethos is built on delivering exceptional levels of customer service and we strive to carry that through to the career opportunities we offer, with some of the best commission rates available to agents, paid on sale rather than departure, a generous signing-on fee and flexible working options.’
He said staff can manage their own customer base and set their own hours and commission rates.
The launch of three niche brands, AlaskaOnly.com, SailfromUK.com and SixStarCruises.co.uk, has also led to rapid growth of the business.
Cruise118 recently won a contract to become the exclusive provider of cruise holidays to travelsupermarket.com and has been shortlisted for the Dell Small Business of the Year awards.
It also won an Online Agent of the Year award at the
Agent Achievement Awards in April.
