The negotiations follow the establishment of 13 new partnerships for a hotels money-saving guide on the website.
The partners include skyscanner.com. holidayextras.co.uk, HotelConnect, Thomas Cook and Thomson, and hotel chains such as Hilton, Marriott and Premier Inn.
The site also offers a car rental guide and says its guides offer further commercial opportunities for specialist companies in different sectors, such as price comparison sites, specialist agents and hotel review sites.
Simonseeks offers travel agents, travel writers and members of the public the chance to earn money by posting destination guides on the site.
As well as the revenue-sharing opportunity, it is now offering cash prizes totalling £5,000 a month until December because it admits revenues are taking ‘a while to filter through’.
Since it was launched in June, Simonseeks has risen 1,307 places in Hitwise’s travel category to rank 976.
The hotels money-saving guide is written by consumer travel expert and site editor Nick Trend.
Chris Nixon, commercial director, said: ‘We have used Nick’s expert knowledge and money-saving tips to offer additional commercial opportunities to a raft of accommodation specialists.
‘The guide offers advice including which companies offer the most flexibility on bookings, the best selection of hotels geographically or the sites with the largest bedbanks, or most in-depth information.’
